Job Description:

  • For training – work and shadowing our operator on first shift – 8am
  • Candidates must understand that this start time is only temporary – must be ready to work second shift when we launch it– 2nd shift start time 3:00pm – end

Scope of Responsibilities & Duties

The Warehouse Forklift Operator will be responsible for following processes, moving raw materials and finished goods, performing cycle counts, recording the necessary ERP System transactions, assisting other departments, and maintaining the material handling equipment

Primary Areas of Responsibility

· Stage ingredients & packaging for production by transferring items to the staging location and recording all associated ERP System transactions (including lot codes for traceability)

· Enforce stock rotation practices using FIRO (First-In, First Out) Practices

· Monitor production usage throughout the day and replenish ingredients and supplies as necessary on a timely basis

· Return unused ingredients and supplies to warehouse storage. Weigh partial contents of drums to document correct weight

· Perform regular inventory cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy

· Meet with the Purchasing Team daily to review available inventory and inbound stock plans

· Assist with receiving and inspecting inbound shipments and completing transactions in ERP System

· Weigh random drums/pales of ingredients at receipt to check for accuracy

· Put items away in storage racks, cooler, and freezer and complete inventory movement transactions

· Assist with picking and staging product for outbound shipments when necessary

· Accurately enter all bin locations and lot codes on pick lists for Logistics Coordinator
